Switzerland Sand and Aggregates is based just outside the picturesque
township of Yea, Victoria. Switzerland Sand provides a wide range of
sands, aggregates and ebonized timber. We cater for large industrial
jobs or smaller landscaping requirements. Our range also includes a
special mix designed especially for equestrian surfaces.

Switzerland Sand and Aggregate s is located 8km north of Yea, specializing in the extraction and processing of alluvial materials ranging from large river pebbles to coarse and fine river sands.

The operation stands on its own in the region, utilizing a
"scrubber-trommel" washing, attrition and grading process.


SALES

Three (3) articulated front end loaders are available onsite for loading of trucks without delay. A certified 100 tonne capacity, all concrete, 26 metre weighbridge with electronic load cells ensures accurate weighing of materials dispatched. The above products can be priced on a delivered basis or are available ex-bin from the quarry.

PRODUCT RANGE

The deposit has quickly gained a reputation of containing a consistently clean material with a Variety of Grades and Multi Colours, with particular reference to the premium range of Oversize and 30-40mm Pebbles.

TOPPINGS

Switzerland (Yea) Toppings is available for those seeking an
alternative to traditional suppliers. A 10mm minus grade is particularly well-suited sticky, wet areas for surfacing or constructing foot paths, driveways or landscape and garden features.
A coarser road base grade is available where heavy vehicular access is required.


MANEGE SAND

Is available in fine, medium and coarse grades and further
tailored to meet the end users requirements by varying the balance
between natural and manufactured sand particles.

Sand can be washed and blended in controlled proportions and are suited to the following end uses:-

Propagating (Naural and Manufactured Grit)

PEBBLES

Pebbles are washed using a scrubber- trommel process and are
separated into the following grades:-
7mm (3/8")
10-14mm (1/2")
14-20mm (3/4")
20-30mm
30-40mm PREMIUM GRADE
40-150mm
80mm+ PREMIUM GRADE
Crushed aggregates in the traditional 3/8", 1.2 inch and 3.4 inch
gradings are available on demand.


SOILS

Manufactured soils are available and can be blended with
controlled proportions of washed river sand to achieve the desired
consistency for the end use.
